School Age Child Care Spring Conference

 
The School Age Child Care Spring Conference is a full day Professional Development Opportunity that will give caregivers the opportunity to participate in four sessions covering various topics ranging from activities to safety and supervision. Each participant will receive 6 hours of professional development.    Participants may register online at www.pakeys.org and register for one of 2 Tracks being offered. Track 1 is Health, Safety & Relationships in School Age Care. Track 2 is Health, Safety & School Age Activities. Lunch is provided and included with the $25 registration fee.

SACC University

SACC University is an entry level training to orient staff to the out-of school time field. This professional development opportunity will provide new staff with strategies they can use immediately in their work with 5-12 year olds.

Pennsylvania School-Age Professional Credential Course

Southeastern PA School Age Child Care Project (SEPA SACC) is proud to announce another offering of the Pennsylvania School-Age Professional Credential to after-school practitioners in the southeastern PA region. The Pennsylvania School-Age Professional Credential is administered by the Pennsylvania Key and is a competency based credential model based on performance. The coursework is one component of the credential process. It is comprised of 120 hours of professional development. Through the 120 hours candidates examine their own work in relation to the PA  School-Age Care Competency Statements, gain knowledge and skills to benefit children and receive feedback and support from experienced persons in the school age field.
 
If you are interested in furthering yourself professionally and are interested in the Pennsylvania School-Age Professional Credential please submit an application or contact us SEPA SACC for more information. We look forward to working with you as you earn your credential!
