SACC University

SACC University is an entry level training to orient staff to the out-of school time field. This professional development opportunity will provide new staff with strategies they can use immediately in their work with 5-12 year olds.

Supporting Conversations about Race and Culture in Early Childhood

Race Matters Orientation- In this session, participants will be introduced
to the Race Matters Toolkit designed by the Annie E. Casey Foundation. The
approach described in the toolkit deals specifically with policies and practices that contribute to inequitable outcomes for children, families, and communities. Participants will learn how to apply specific tools to analyze existing data, policy and practice for shortcomings and gaps.

Back To School: After-School Style

A WORKSHOP FOR SCHOOL-AGE CHILD CARE PROGRAM STAFF- Afterschool Style means realizing it’s afterschool, not school! It’s a time for complimentary learning that is: hands-on, interesting, involves kid-choice, is fun, and engaging. Learn how to intentionally plan afterschool curriculum that meets youth needs. Lunch provided.
