Meet the Staff


Janice Baston provides technical assistance as a Project Associate for the Success by Six project.  Janice earned an M.S. Degree from Eastern University in non-profit management.  She has experiences as a Lead Teacher at Montgomery County Community College Children’s Center. Her special area of expertise is program operation and business practices.  Janice currently resides with her husband in Collegeville, PA.
 

Colleen Estock is the Office Manager of the School Age Project, and has worked there for 3 years. She has lived in the Philadelphia region her entire life and attended Kutztown University. 

Pat Hess is the Manager of Professional Development (PD)/Systems. She has over 25 years of experience in the field of school age child care. As an adjunct professor in the early childhood department at Lehigh Carbon Community College she has experience Teaching the Director's Credential and other early childhood courses.

 Neshamah Dillard Maillard is Manager of the United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania sponsored Success by Six Project. As a Project Associate she conducts Early Childhood and School-age Technical Assistance for Keystone STARS; facilitates the PA model of Mind in the Making for Directors; and conducts, promotes and creates Professional Development sessions. Neshamah’s motto -"service with a smile".

 Janine Massenberg provides technical assistance as a Project Associate for the Success by Six project. Janine received her BA degree from Northeastern University, Boston MA.  She has seven years experience working on the child care field in various capacities including Director of Education, Program Assistant and Center Supervisor.  Her primary experience has been at the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base in Willow Grove.  Janine currently resides with her family in Quakertown, PA.

 Donna Smith provides technical assistance as a Project Associate for the Success by Six project.  Donna received her BS Degree in Elementary Education/Early Childhood with a Minor in Sociology from Temple University.  She has worked in the Education field for over twenty years.  Donna has most recently worked for Project H.O.M.E in Philadelphia as K-6 Program Manager.  She has previously worked in the roles of Education Assistant, Lead Teacher and Assistant Director.

 Thomasine Washington is the Senior Manager of Technical Assistance and has worked for SEPA SACC for more than 4 years. She has worked extensively with programs to help them become accredited by the National After-School Association (NAA). In her spare time, it is not unusual to find Thomasine hanging out near Pit Row as she is an avid NASCAR fan.  

 

Carmen Weachter-Gatti was promoted to Project Director at SEPA SACC in April 2006 and has worked in the child care field for more than 30 years. She is one of the few individuals that has graduated from Concordia University with a degree in School Age Child Development. Carmen is actively involved in many professional development events and conferences. She is currently an active member of the PA Key Advisory Committee; PA Key newly formed TA Advisory Committee and SERK Regional Leadership Council and Professional Development Council TA Workgroup Chair.
