Professional Development

The Southeastern Pennsylvania School Age Child Care Project (SEPA SACC) has developed successful models for evaluating, assessing, and implementing professional development to address the specific needs of school-age child care professionals.

SEPA SACC offers a comprehensive professional development calendar and community based workshops that encompass entry level to advanced level sessions. Professional development offerings are carefully developed to reflect the most current knowledge in the field and to respond to the needs of practitioners. Since its inception, the Project has endorsed a training philosophy that facilitates the development of professionals and leaders in the field. These efforts are now further supported with the offering of the new Pennsylvania School Age Professional Credential course. In 2006/2007, the Project conducted nearly 200 individual and multiple session workshops and seminars.

SEPA SACC anticipates providing a growing number of dynamic professional development opportunities. If you have a specific inquiry or request regarding professional development offerings please complete and submit the Professional Development Request form. We will be glad to hear from you!
