About Us

Founded in 1986, Southeastern Pennsylvania School Age Child Care Project (SEPA SACC) is a professional development and technical assistance organization supporting both public and private afterschool programs in the Philadelphia region. Its mission is to encourage the development and expansion of high quality and innovative out-of-school time programs by using strategies, tools and processes grounded in best practices, research and national standards. SEPA SACC provides an extensive calendar and variety of professional development activities, on-site technical assistance, program improvement and accreditation support. Its resource lending library is on of the largest collections of after-school resources in the country. While most of its work is based in Pennsylvania, SEPA SACC is frequently called upon to provide support to other organizations outside of Pennsylvania.
